Any one been able to get Miraclecast (Miracast) working with Ubuntu? If so how do we make it work?
I wanted to try it, but have not found much on the concept working in Linux (Ubuntu).

Yes I have the Microsoft Mira-cast V3 adaptor like a USB key HDMI into the tv with USB power <- you need both so TV needs both ! I had to update the firmware to latest on Ms adaptor the Mirror was windowed so may need zoom or expand feature enabled on the TV - obviously phablet display was not the crispest but understand properMira-cast development is underway for Linux boxes, instead of dirty solution, so guess we will all have to wait - to finish, pairing does work in a fashion - hope this is what you were asking ?
I was also searching for the solution. I have a cheap miracast dongle, but I cannot use it with Ubuntu 16.04 (didn't try miraclecast). There is aethercast evolving, but it's not available for 16.04. There are packages for 16.10 and 17.04.
