Video player with (true) support for 2 subtitles

    Hello,

I am considering migrating my desktop to the Linux world from Windows and I am wondering if there is some video player which is capable of rendering 2 subtitles (on top and bottom)? I mean true support, not workaround ala 2srt2ass, because I need to be able to change delay of each subtitles separately. On Windows I am using MPHC with ffdshow, one subtitles comes from ffdshow and one from the player. ffdshow uses global hotkeys and player is active window (= shortcuts are working normally) so I am able to change delay of bottom and top subtitles independently.

Thank you for any on-topic suggestions.

PS: Thinking about it, it is also very inconvenient to have to merge two subtitle files before every playing e.g. 20 minutes episode. With my current solution I just grab a subtitle file, toss it on a player and from tray I select second subtitles and I am done.

smplayer (with mpv set as the engine) can do two subs.

Yes, I am using it for now. But I didn't find any way of delaying subtitles separately (they got both same delay value).
