    14.04 Software Updater downgraded Emacs version from 25.1 to 24.3.1

    I've had the installed Emacs version 25.1 downgraded to 24.3.1 after a software update twice this week. Is there a setting for me to prevent the automatic software updates from doing this? (Ubuntu Desktop 14.04)
