Hi all,
I came across this issue because I've changed to a US layout keyboard, which unlike the UK variant, doesn't have the backslash/pipe key next to left shift.
OS: Ubuntu 16.04.1 (Unity)
I've noticed that despite "Sticky Keys" being turned off from within the "Universal Access" options, I still get a sticky shift when pressing both left and right shifts together. I can confirm the left shift continues to be in the keydown state by inspecting the keyboard state using the "Text Entry" app.
Would be grateful for confirmation of this issue / any workarounds. The only similar issue I've found is an old thread which reports a similar issue with Gnome, but that was years ago. System is virtualized with Win 10 host, though the issue doesn't seem to originate from Windows.
Thanks,
Ian
