I'm completely new using Ubuntu and I have to configure three cameras to take pictures every hour for a project.
The cameras are Logitech, all of the same model. When I connect just one it works fine, but when we connect two or three, just one turns on.
We're using a code called motion.conf, for which we activated three threads for two cameras (as we saw in another post).
We have errors that I don't know how to fix. Programming is not my strength but I'm in charge of the task because I know a little of computer languages, and I'm struggling.
Error starting stream VIDIOC_STREAMON: No space left on device
ioctl (VIDIOCGCAP): Inappropriate ioctl for device
Could not fetch initial image from camera
Error selecting input 0 VIDIOC_S_INPUT: Device or resource busy
ioctl (VIDIOCGCAP): Inappropriate ioctl for device
I don't know what ioctl means. In some other posts I saw I had to write something with sudo in the terminal, but I also don't know what it is, and when I googled it I couldn't find the meaning of it.
If you can help me with this I'll thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.
