Not seeing anything like it was - but do get the odd slow loading - when it 'is' slow, it appears that it's having a huff and a puff with facebook - can't remember how or where to turn that off in settings.

I seem to get the majority of FB blocked with uMatrix add-on: https://github.com/gorhill/uMatrix/releases
Back then I think everyone was using Ghostery...if I'm not mistaken.
But that said I still see the forums huff and puff loading pages @ times.

I finally just blocked the FB from showing at all with:

sudo nano  /etc/hosts

Added this to the bottom of the file:

# Block Facebook
127.0.0.1 www.facebook.com

Reboot with all evidence of Face Book now not shown.
