    Intrusion Prevention and Detection Systems

    I am installing Snort on a virtual machine but I am curious whether there are other effective, (relatively) low maintenance, open source Intrusion Prevention and Detection Systems for Ubuntu 16.04 server that you would highly recommend?

    There would be only one server on that network.
