Since James is a moderator there I added a comment asking him to update
Thanks jeremy31. Can I edit it as well?

A thing discovered and kept to oneself must be discovered time and again by others. A thing discovered and shared with others need be discovered only the once.
This universe is crazy. I'm going back to my own.
Thanks QIII, I was wondering where this belonged
ineuw, privileges on askubuntu are based on points and you need 2000 to be able to edit questions and answers. I have just over 3800 but elected to ask James to do it as a sign of respect as he is a moderator there
To my mind, the threshold for editing is much lower than 2000 (if it exists at all). If you have more than 2000 rep, your edits don't need approval. If you have less than 2000 points, two people with sufficient rep should approve your proposed edit.
You get 2 points per approved edit and can earn a max of 1000 points (IIRC) by editing provided your overall rep is less than 2000. That, of course, leads to a lot of needless editing
Bottom line ... @ineuw, you're actually encouraged to edit whatever you want there provided you adhere to the conditions. I'm assuming you have an account there.
