What is name of the font used for Ubuntu logo? I've tried to find it, but no luck. I tried bunch of oblique fonts, bot non of them works. Anyone?

most probably, VAG Rounded Bold

So far, the closest font I have found to the ubuntu logo font would be Variable Black: http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/madtype/variable/ But as you can see, the inner sides of all of the letters are not perfectly round and the "t" is incorrect. But I'm still searching...
It should be possible to find who designed the artwork for ubuntu, and then to send him an email. I suppose.
I've found a font that's actually closer to the ubuntu logo, with the exception of the "tails" on the u,b, and n. If I removed those tails and changed the curve of the t slightly, it would be perfect. http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/itfmeca...normalise-din/
Ok, from the source's mouth: ubuntu text logo isn't a font, they're path letters only. huh. So I guess I will be creating the "ubuntu" font with inkscape...
kassetra, did you ever complete that font? I'd be interested in using it!
