Hello,

I am having trouble syncing my iphone with Ubuntu. I am currently using Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS. I checked the libimobiledevice website and there seems to be a newer version then what is available through Synaptic. I have tried manualing installing this release but have been unable to do so.

I have searched all over and have tried some things people have told me to do but have been unsuccesful. There seems to be a dependency that I do not know how to install.

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? I just need to sync the music on my iphone with my computer.
