I'm wondering if anyone has tried using their iPhone with Ubuntu 15.04. I haven't found any information on this online yet, so I thought I'd ask here. I saw that a while back iPhone modified their USB connection settings because people were able to hack iPhone in some way that Apple didn't want. So they created a way that iPhone users would have to "Trust" the computer when they plug in the iPhone. However, it seems that there was a connection loop that prevented the iPhone from actually mounting, and there was a special fix that could be applied to Ubuntu to get the iPhone to mount. I'm wondering if that issue still exists and if the solution has been rolled into the mainstream distribution rather than requiring separate steps to accomplish.
So what's your experience with iPhone and Ubuntu? Does it "just work?" Does it require anything special?
Thanks,
Jon
