I have not found anyone with that device that got it to work.
the device id is 0b05:17d1 and that is how you find the driver you need. The only driver I found said it works on kernel 3.11 so it is to old, you could try ndiswrapper but someone else will have to help with that, or you could return it and get one that is supported. I do not have any suggestions for the best one to get.
I am sorry I do not have better news.
