I thought about emailing UWN, then an alien spaceship landed just outside my window and I got distracted ..

    Re: Ubuntu Forums Membership

Ubuntu Membership via Forum contributions was posted on the Forums Council blog a couple of weeks ago but it seems not reposted here.

As the posts says, it's been a while since the last successful application.

    Re: Ubuntu Forums Membership

I have been an Ubuntu user since 2005 and have been on the forum the same amount of time and I thought it was about time to sign the Code of Conduct.
I went to install it and got this error. Not sure what is going on. I tried the one in the repository on the version I am using. (17.04). I also tried the one from the Code of Conduct Signing Assistant in Launchpad. The latest version is 0.4 on that page.
Here is the error I am getting.

I did a clean install on my Dell, but not sure how to upgrade this one now that it expired.
I was thinking that the 04 release was the LTS. I don't know how I missed that one. I went from 16.04 to 17.04 and never thought about it.
I know I can do a clean install if there is no easy way to do an upgrade to 17.10.1. I keep all my data in the cloud so all I would need to do is reinstall my programs and reset up my settings.
EDIT: I think I just answered my own question. I think there is an upgrade on the USB install stick I made for the install on the Dell. I need to check to see if it is there.
