Unhappy Resolution scrambled after resuming from standby

    Hi,

I've recently been having some issues with my laptop. I'm running Ubuntu 14.10 with AMD Omega drivers on it (It's an AMD A10-5757M).

The issue affects standby and basically renders it useless. Every time I close the lid i have 1 of 3 outcomes... Seems practically random which will happen.

    1. It goes into standby just fine
    2. The screen goes blank and stops responding to any input and needs a hard reset
    3. The screen goes blank but doesn't freeze at all and I can log back in

The here comes the second part... When it actually does suspend, 8.10 times the graphics are completely f*****... D:
I have found a temporary workaround which is to plug in an external display over HDMI which resets the resolution and all is fine. But I can't do this all the time and it defeats the purpose of a Laptop... Another is to kill Xorg but it's still hardly a solution to close everything like that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I need my Laptop for college D:

I will be happy to provide logs etc. If you want to look at them.

    Thanks in advance
