    New-to-me Printer brand - - Pantum

Printer questions seem to a fairly popular topic. I just clicked on Newegg's site to see what SSD prices are doing post shopping-frenzy season. Look what's on the front page:

I had never heard of the brand and saw it was listed as a GDI printer.

First thought: "Hmmm a compact inexpensive laser printer. Wonder if it's any good?"

Second thought: " Hmmm GDI printer, bet it's Windows only"

Went to the web site and clicked on the support tab looking for drivers. A couple more clicks brought me to this:

Wait, what's that 3rd entry? Linux? Ubuntu?

What IS the world coming to?

Not a support question, so moved.

it even includes deb files, no need to compile stuff :0
