Why cant I get my posts to include spaces so that I can separate text into paragraphs?

Moved to Forum Feedback & Help.
Do you mean like this?
This is a second paragraph. The trick is to hit ENTER twice to create the blank line.
If this isn't what you are asking about, you'll need to be a bit more explicit with your question...

Howdy Jim in OK, Yes, that is exactly what I was talking about. My paragraphs (as you've typed them) looked good on preview, but when I posted my comment, they disappeared. It happened a few times. Lets see what happens now. I just double spaced to create a total of three paragraphs. Now I'll post and we can see ...
It didn't work! On preview, my above comment (#4 for me) is just one paragraph. It all runs into the salutation even. Hmmm? What could it be?
Thanks for moving my question to the appropriate thread, Bucky Ball. I think it was you, anyway . OK, so I loosened up my NoScript settings. Let's see if that worked.
Here's another paragraph.
And another paragraph.
And yet another one. Now I'll post to see how it looks. [Editing the post to note that adjusting NoScript resolved the spacing issue.]
Thanks Gang!

Good to know you got it fixed. Please, though, tell us what NoScript settings were responsible for the problem. I use it also, but haven't run into such drastic effects.
Also, it will help if you mark the thread as "SOLVED" per the link in my sig below...

If memory serves correctly, we used to have issues with yahoo APIs, as vBulletin uses them for some of the functionality. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe NoScript was blocking access to yui.yahooapis.com when browsing UF, which caused issues similar to those described here.
Could well be. My NoScript settings for this site ALLOW yahooapis.com and only forbid facebook.com...

When Joeb was an admin, we used to blame him for any forum problems. He is correct though, not allowing yahooapis does create problems, such as the one the op experienced.
