They can keep it in New York. Looks like another meter of snow today on top of what they already have. I would be afraid my roof would collapse under the weight.
Edit: A total of 3 meters of snow in 2 days is crippling to any community.

Use whatever OS or desktop works for you. Dual boot or use VMs if you want. Backup your computer regularly, and definitely before upgrading, partitioning, or installing an OS.

I am just a few miles to the east of where the snow band dumped feet of snow on New York. Amazingly we barely got enough to cover the grass.

Funny how that works.
I was walking home from elementary school once, when it started to rain (heavy shower). I looked across the street, and it was dry and crossed over to it and walked the remaining 2-3 blocks home, and remained dry, while seeing it rain across the street the whole time.
