help wubi installed 8.04 wont boot

ask lang po, naginstall po ako ng 8.04 thru wubi on win7 ultimate, i used the .iso mounted on a virtual drive, ran wubi inside the iso, after reboot it goes straight to win7, di ba dapat may option to choose kung win7 or ubuntu ang iload na os? alam ko po na hindi na supported ang wubi, but can it still be used? need ko lang po ng linux environment para mapag-aralan. sensya na po noobie here.

Welcome to the Ubuntu Forums

Please install a current version of Ubuntu or Ubuntu flavour (Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Xubuntu, ...). The version 8.04 passed end of life several years ago and receives no security updates.
Wubi is also deprecated and no longer developed.

understood sir, thanks for the links, i got the 8.04 running on vm, though i don't prefer using vms, atleast now i have a linux environment for study...thanks kudos!
