Has anyone used indicator-synapse with lxpanel?

It seems that indicator-synapse doesn't want to play nice with some panels (see here and here). Has anyone managed to get it to show up?

I think its going to be tough getting an answer to this. I have openbox installs, but with gnome-panel. So no help there.

I think the place to start would be install it and see if you can pull it up using the terminal.

After you get it installed, look in /usr/share/applications. May have created a gnome launcher there.
