What if I don't want certain people inviting me to Hello?
do this work even when both users have ports closed by ISP?
tox.chat, reactos.org
Whichever port, I will surely block it and use that as my excuse.

Source: https://blog.mozilla.org/futurerelea...-firefox-beta/These are just some of the main improvements that we will be rolling out over the next few weeks to all Firefox Beta users. So please test them out and let us know what you think at the end of your call. Please remember we’re still in the experimental phases and making a lot of changes behind the scenes.
From what I remember about the beta channel, not much really happened except bug fixes and polish. But having "Firefox Hello" in beta rather than in the nightly or Aurora channel seems a bit premature given what I've quoted above. In other words, if a lot needs to be done, I don't see how Hello got into beta. Maybe it's a calculated step because they want more testers than are available in the Aurora & nightly channels?
Looks interesting, but making sure people can't just randomly call you will have to be included (and I am sure they will). It seems you send an email to the person to join the conversation and it sends the link.
If it is cross-platform and browser-based (unlike Skype) and does not require a Google account (like Google Hangouts) then this may be a handy add-on.
Of course, how much of an impact this has on performance will be a factor. Otherwise, I already have my wife on Firefox, and she cannot remember her Skype password when she needs it because she uses it so infrequently.
