    Unable to login to Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

    Hello,
    I just tried to login today in ubuntu but when I enter my password, I can't get to my profile. It remains stuck at ubuntu 12.04 wallpaper screen. Essentially, I can't see my desktop. I can't see my programs.Although I can login to guest session on the login screen without problem and can see the desktop. Pls help!
