The original account e-mail was a hotmail one, rather Japanese in nature - certainly nothing like nilsson.

Set login.ubuntu.com as preferred to the hotmail address and let us know, we can then disassociate.

Once you've associated properly to the old account - you can change e-mail address there and here.
