I've been trying to install the astrophotography plugins found on http://www.hennigbuam.de/georg/gimp.html but I am having no luck. When I run configure, it tells me that I'm missing gimp and gimpui 2.0, which is because I'm running gimp 2.8.

I've tried installing libgimp2.0-dev to see if that would fix any dependencies but ubuntu won't let me install it. Does anyone have any advice?
