    Ubuntu 14.10 5GHz WiFi issues

    Hi all,

I'm using Ubuntu 14.10 on a Dell XPS 13 (9333), which has an intel AC 7620 wifi card built in. When I try to connect to a 5GHz SSID, I can connect but cannot download updates and can only access webpages intermittently. Where as the 2.4GHz range is absolutely fine?

Is this a known issue and is there a fix?

    Thanks!

I think this question would be better placed ( and with more possibilities to be answered) in the Networking & wireless subforum. You can ask a moderator to move the thread.
