Your device uses the rare and elusive driver 8812au. Please get a temporary wired ethernet or similar connection, go back to the terminal and do:
    Code:
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install linux-headers-generic build-essential git
    git clone https://github.com/abperiasamy/rtl8812AU_8821AU_linux.git
    cd ~/rtl8812AU_8821AU_linux
    make
    sudo make install
    sudo modprobe 8812au
Your wireless should now be working.

Post back any errors; warnings are probably alright. I will have one additional step.

Re: Problem Installing Netgear A6100 Wifi USB mini adapter ac600 Dual band Ubuntu 14.

I'm glad it's working! You have compiled the driver for your current kernel version only. When Update Manager installs a later linux-image, recompile:
    Code:
    cd rtl8812AU_8821AU_linux/
    make clean
    make
    sudo make install
    sudo modprobe 8812au
Please retain the file and these instructions for that time.

Please use thread tools at the top to mark Solved. The searchers will appreciate it.

It seems that you are using an Ubuntu version that has reached end-of-life: http://fridge.ubuntu.com/2014/01/28/...nuary-27-2014/
This is a follow-up to the End of Life warning sent last month to confirm that as of today (Jan 27, 2014), Ubuntu 13.04 is no longer supported. No more package updates will be accepted to 13.04
I suggest you upgrade to 14.04 LTS or 14.10.
