    Re: Panels

Panels are designed to be on the edges. I don't believe they can be located at an arbitrary screen locations. What are you trying to do?

Also you are asking a lot of questions here that could be answered by spending some time browsing the KDE site or searching with Google. At some point you will wear out your welcome here.
If you ask for help, do not abandon your request. Please have the courtesy to check for responses and thank the people who helped you.

Some panels can be set to less than 100% and aligned left, right or center. For example, for my Openbox session, I have lxpanel (12% width; centered) and tint2 (45% width; right-aligned) on the same row with a small conky on the LHS.

I'm sure something similar can be done with Kubuntu which has excellent documentation as you've pointed out.

Since this is an all volunteer forum nobody is obligated to answer any posts.

I believe that SeijiSensei is suggesting that performing some research about queries is often rewarding to the OP and generally well received by our extremely helpful community.

I've discovered that a quick Google search often points me to the information I require to answer many of my questions.

    Re: Panels

That's odd. Sure you can't click on the panel, go to panel preferenes and unlock then drag to where ever you want then lock and close the preferences? I do that with the second panel on my Wheezy and Jessie all hte time.
