Install Hardware Support 12-.04 LTS

HI, I just recieved a message in my update area to install hardware support for Ubuntu 12.04. Is this part of an LTS upgrade to 14.04? Do I need to install it to make the transition to the new LTS or will an upgrade to 14.04 be made available in my update notifications?

You could check to see what type of hardware support it wants to install by running an update in terminal.

sudo apt-get update

Or just use Synaptic Package Manager to see whats going on.
