Closed thread problem: can it be reopened?

I am advised that this, the resolution centre, is the place to post problems with closed and fused threads. "Please do not PM me about your forum account unless you have been asked to. The correct place to contact an admin about your account is here".

If not, can you advise me where to post this?

I have a long problem with dual boot on a Lenovo with UEFI Win 8 PC.

My original thread was closed, and two offshoots were merged.

With the fusion of 2 threads, the thread

has become confused and has a non helpful title.

I recommend that it is closed.

But I would like to thank all contributors, especially OldFred.

I still have the same open problem. The best solution would be to re-open the original thread at

Then I should be able to give a more logical follow up with the latest status.
