    1. I've gone KDE.
    2. I've gone openSUSE 13.1. (Not entirely - still have other systems running Ubuntu and they will stay that way. I just figured I'd try a new distro on my "new" laptop. (Dell Latitude E6510 for inquiring minds.))

Only started messing with terminal 2 weeks ago. with a raspberry pi which I bought out of curiosity (and killed).

Dont like unity much, but rather than ditch Ubuntu, I looked at ways to change my interface.

I kinda rolled my own in the most basic of ways. Im quite happy with myself, considering im a total epic newb at this.

This is still Ubuntu.....just my own flavour.

I added Classic Menu Indicator via terminal. Changed the colour of the windows etc and got it to hide the Unity sidebar, using Unity Tweak Tool. Then added Lubuntu Dependancies, etc via terminal. And Cairo Doc via terminal.

The Pink Vampire Clock Gerbil is just a skin in Mac Slows Cairo clock. Still have to click Cairo on after booting into Ubuntu..Havent worked out how to make it come on auto yet. But im happy.

    Kubuntu. Trusty.

I think the wallpaper was called "hex grid" or "hex fiber"

On the left is a conky (actually composed of several) that seems to keep getting more elaborate.

On the right is yakuake showing four terminals.

    Re: Iulius Screenshots

Well i've been messing about some more with my Ubuntu install..

This time with LXDE (based on the Lubuntu dependencies I added earlier to my original Ubuntu install) and Conky Manager (gui).

Google is so useful for finding out stuff. Am epic newb (started playing with terminal about almost 3 weeks ago). But already massively improving my original Ubuntu install.

    YAY!! This is fun.
