    Mounting ZIP drive

    I have the latest version of Ubuntu on the computer. It has a 250 MB ZIP drive which does not always display the icon in the left hand column - I understand that this means that it sometimes automatically mounts and at other times does not. How do I get Ubuntu to "see" this drive all the time. Thanks.

    I'm guessing it only mounts it when there is a disk in it.
