Yes, the network card is recognized and I don't see an ip address. The only thing that could be the ip address inet6 address. When I typed in
Code:
cat /etc/network/interfaces
I get
Code:
# interfaces(5) file used by ifup(8) and ifdown(8)
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
And when I type in
Code:
cat /etc/resolv.conf
I get
Code:
# Dynamic resolv.conf(5) file for glibc resolver(3) generated by resolvconf(8)
# DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE BY HAND -- YOUR CHANGES WILL BE OVERWRITTEN
And when I type in
Code:
ls -la /etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf.d/base ##empty as in size 0 ?
I get
Code:
-rw-r--r== 1 root root 0 Dec 13 2012 /etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf.d/base
