13.10->14.04 suddenly, black screen after login (with a temp workaround trick) )

(my hardware is: acer netbook aspire one, 2GB ram 1TB hdd, a netbook atom n450 1,66Ghz based, cpu should have intel graphic integrated called gma3150, I use external svga with a 22" lcd )

After upgrading 13.10->14.04, during attempt to fix problem about nework-manager applet, following the instruction about the problem, I've understood that:
only doing Logout (clicking on close session), and then, after logging in, I obtained a black screen (with only mouse pointer, moveable), but if I switched with ctrl-alt-f1 and then switch again to first desktop (black screen) all was loaded correctly.

Now, suddenly, Problem appears when i switch on the pc at first login, and I can use the workaround described above (switching and returning between system screen (ctrl-alt-f1 .. ctrl-alt-f7) ).

Is there a definitive way fix for this?

open a terminal using ctrl-alt-f1... and type in rm .Xauthority then enter and then enter sudo shutdown -r now . you might have a problem with .Xauthority. it will be rebuilt when you reboot.

I've started pc, and after login and subsequent black screen, I've switched (between screens) typing ctrl-alt-f1 then ctrl-alt-f7 then I've obtained my desktop. Then I've read workaround here suggested and done it (type ctrl-alt-f1, removing .Xauthority, shutdown -r now).

    result:
1)At first login, the problem seems solved .
2)if I do logout (clicking on "close this session") and then login, problem appears again .
