Ubuntu on Flash Drive

I would like to install Ubuntu 14.04 on a flash drive. It is already downloaded on my computer. I then installed the universal installer. I am now confused. Please see attached image.

Do not you have a Startup Disk Creator under System Tools, or what it is called in unity ?

Yes

I tried using it. Everytime I selected Ubuntu 14.04 from the Download folder, 12.04 would would be selected instead.

Try moving your iso to another folder, for ex after creating a new folder under Downloads and make sure there is no .iso left in /Downloads.

Tried it on desktop.I still could not select it.

To note, I had to try with another usb drive, using usb-creator. The first one I had, although erased and 2GB, never worked.
