Username not honored

When I logged into the forums (first time since the SSO thing), I checked that I wanted to use my name and not my username. But what I got was this mangle of my email address instead. Is there any way to change it, or do I have to wait til I have 10 posts?

We should be able to help. Rather than create a new account, though, perhaps we could re-connect you with your old one. What was the old account name?
SSO should have reconnected, but frequently the email address isn't the same as the original account.

Well I'm pretty sure the email address was the same, as it told me it was already in use, so I did a password recovery. Also, I don't know that I ever actually posted on here before (a search on the username I always use, "cydewaze" came up blank).

cydewaze registered with an account @cydewaze.org. in 2007. Passwords were all scrambled when forum was reloaded last year.

Yeah, that would be me! And 07 sounds about right, since 6.06 was my first install.

If that email account is still accessible, you should make it your SSO preferred email address. Once that is done, this forum account can be disassociated with the SSO account, and our next login should reconnect you with cydewaze (as you mentioned, no posts recorded) - who will be unable to post in this thread.

If that email is unaccessible, there are a few other options available.

Unfortunately I have about 20 email addresses. Can you PM me which one it is, and if it's dead I can just recreate it.
