How can I modify Wubi to work with another ubuntu-based distro‏?

I currently develop an Ubuntu Based distrobution. It uses the ubiquity installer inside a live environment (casper, squashfs etc.) and I am looking at getting it to work with the wubi installer.

I read on the ubuntu wiki wubiguide about how it could be done but the instructions seemed a bit broad and now they have totally gone (it also mentions to ask for assistiance if you need it).

How can I go about making Wubi work with my Ubuntu Based operating system?

    Thank You

I am midway through this process (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1062504) however my internet connection speed is a bit slow and it is for hardy so I am unsure if it will work.

    Welcome to the Ubuntu Forums

Wubi is not developed by Ubuntu now because it does not work with the new Windows versions and UEFI. So I would not recommend that you spend too much time on it (unless you want to develop it yourself). See this link

Thank You for your suggestions. The guide worked for me.
