Hello,

How do I add the repository for this:

MATE is available via unofficial repositories for the following Linux distributions, but inclusion in their official repositories is planned:

• Debian
• Gentoo
• Slackware
• Ubuntu

The Mate developers should be showing how to install their unofficial repositories. With Ubuntu one way to do this is through a Personal Package Archive (PPA). If the Mate developers are using that method they should be providing a command for you to use.

The 14.04 software centre does not, as yet, contain a package for the mate desktop. So, Mate is yet to be included in the 14.04 official repositories.
