    Hi panorain.

I'd recommend taking a look at Chromium, which is the open source project in which Google's Chrome web browser is based.

It is available on the Software Center.

Hope it helps. Let us know how it goes.
    Regards.

I would suggest moving this to Chat/Cafe. It has all the potential to go the way of most other "my browser is better than your browser" threads.

Agreed, there are many options for web browsers 'although' I would prefer suggestions about unknown yet supported web browsers 'that work with Ubuntu'. This can be a good topic. If unneeded here let it be.

    Thank you,

If not FF then Chrome. I would not recommend Chromium, if you like Chrome you may as well get the real thing rather than a crippled, outdated and buggy perpetual beta and then go through hacks to get Chrome's proprietary features like pepper flash.

    +1

You can use Opera , Chrome, chromium.

You can give the Firefox-nightly or Firefox Aurora a try.

there are so many browser available in repositories/software center and some outside of repositories. there are some descent ones you probably never even heard of... light, textt based, fully featured...

Even the strange and odd Elinks is a option if you don't mind text only browsers. (Just another to add to the list).
