Hey guys,

In preparation for the Xp-ocaplypse, I am setting up my old eeepc netbook (1000h) with linux. Finally figured out a script on how to pan the screen when it has a resolution bigger than the native screen size, and now I want to add the script to a hotkey.

In the community wiki, https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EeePC/Using , it says that the program to use for the is eee-control. However, the link on that page http://greg.geekmind.org/eee-control/ does not work any longer. Googling eee-control I found the launchpad page, and it seems that it has not updated since natty https://launchpad.net/~eee-control/+archive/eee-control

So, keeping in mind that I am still pretty new to linux, I have a couple questions...

1.) Is it possible to download this anyways and put it on 13.04? In trying to do so, is there any risk something will get messed up?
2.) If something would need to be updated, what would it be?
