They seem to be moving very slowly indeed ?
For instance not one new viewer has looked at this Cafe thread in over a day, i suspect that is unlikely to be true.
Views are a useful rough guage of interest.

We noticed this the other day after the minor upgrade, was the least of the issues we had afterwards ...

Canonical IS are aware of the issue and it will be looked into for us.

Like Jonor I noticed that the view counter is moving slow too, it's only when you are logged in that it counts.
You probably know this already.
Nice to know that someone is addressing the problem

Apparently a gallon of fine machine oil was applied to the problem, the little handles turning the cogs that turn the view count should be all freed up now. If people that noticed could have a look too.

I had expected that at the turn of the hour that there may have been an increase of views on the PopularPages thread - http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=428 but it hasn't happened as yet. I am a patient man though.

It appears that while the fine machine oil was applied where required, they neglected to feed the little man who actually turns the little handle - I've pointed this out to IS.

Actually, I think the hamster's having a nap. But I'm sure IS have a bag of mixed nuts and seeds which will wake it up.
