    Video capture package

    Hi all,

    Ubuntu 12.04 desktop 64bit

    I'm searching for a package to capture online video such as Youtube and video on newspager etc.

    Google search brought me "Guvcview" on following links;
    Anything better than Cheese for video capture?

    Are there any other recommendation? Thanks

    I don't know if there's a way to set the input properly or not, but I've had great success using VLC to capture video and/or audio from USB capture devices. Perhaps you can set the input there to your source.
