    ran sudo wine.. whoops

Alright I ran sudo wine while trying to start a game then read how bad that was. I couldn't find any up to date posts on this issue. Is wine just running at root now? If so, how can I change the permissions back?

Exit Wine ASAP and don't run it as root in the future.

    Re: ran sudo wine.. whoops

This is why Ubuntu requires us to use sudo. The power to modify system files times out after a small delay and we revert back back to being a standard user.
It is a machine. It is more stupid than we are. It will not stop us from doing stupid things.
