    Graphical glitches and installer freezes.

    Hello.
When I try to install Ubuntu Desktop 12.04.4 AMD64 via USB, the installer launches but with lots of graphical glitches (particles scattered about the page, weird "box" under mouse pointer) and my screen randomly turns off.

After a while the entire installer completely freezes - at which point I'm forced to reboot my computer.

I've tried using the boot parameter fb=false - but that didn't work either.

    My computers specs:

    • Intel i5 3570 @ 3.4Ghz.
    • 8GB DDRR3 RAM.
    • AMD Radeon HD 6570.
    • 500GB Hard drive that I'm trying to install Ubuntu on.
    • 120GB SSD that Windows 7 is on.

    I want to setup dual-boot.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

Did you do an md5sum checksum on the .iso file?
