    WNA 3100 usb adapter

I am completly new to Ubuntu! I'm lost! I have HP Pavilion XP Pro SP3 AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual core 5200+ 3.0GB Ram Nvidia GeForce FX5500. I installed Ubuntu beside my XP. I can't get my WNA 3100 usb adapter to work at all. It does reconize it, but I don't know how to install Drivers. Can you please help me? This seems like a good OS & I have to replace XP.

Re: How do I use the Terminal to install???

Hello David, I'm new to Linux/Ubuntu/Lubuntu as well. Here is a good source to learn commands in terminal: http://linuxcommand.org/

I'm too green to advice you about drivers.

    Good luck!

Yes it's detecting my modem. I'm going to take my computer to my living room & hook it directly to my modem to see if it will connect to ethernet.
