At the moment it might work, but tomorrow it might not. Pre-releases can be like that. Best way is to try it out and see what happens.

This video was way back and it used Looking Glass, Sun's project, on Ubuntu Dapper Dan ! Like 5 years back !

Compiz cannot do this, if I am not mistaken, currently using it though.

Really sorry Bucky Ball, seems I misunderstood it.

I thought MikeCyber wanted to use it in 14.04 (if and when he upgrades), but I guess what he meant is he wants to use it in his current 14.04 install.

But really, is Looking Glass out there and can be installed in any current set-up. The looks are quiet amazing.

All good. Even if that isn't the case, all testers and others can benefit from it here and if it doesn't work in 14.04 LTS figure out how to make it so!

PS: And yes, looks great. I'll give it a go on a 14.04 tomorrow hopefully.

Burned the livecd but it freezes at USB something.

Yes old but looks cool. Would be amazing in 14.04 or 12.04. Also the source seems gone, only some descriptions are downloaded from sourceforge.
