Ubuntu Server 12.04 LTS, as VPS via Provider + Start .exe (Wine) before user Logon

    Hi folks,
i have an "Ubuntu Server 12.04 LTS" -VPS with a Provider.

Now i have a simple plan, but i am not sure how to do it!

At the moment i have Wine installed as root (i know i should not)!
And i use the ubuntu autostart (Autostart Application) function to start my .exe (Wine).
The Problem is, that it starts my application (.exe) only after the user login.

But for me it is important, that after the VPS-Provider e.g. restarts the server, also my .exe (with wine) should start again automatically even without a user logon.
    1.) Is this possible?
2.) Or another idea would be, to create a user1 (standarduser with less rights) and with no password and "Automatic Login". Then install Wine under user1 and so after a restart it should login automatically and then open per autostart-function my wine-app (.exe). Does this work??? Or is it no save solution?

I would be very happy about your constructive help!
