Problem Posting

Folks,

I seem to be having problems posting messages.

About 10 days ago I posted 2 messages, one regarding graphic cards problems and another re ffmpeg problems.

Puzzled that I did not get any replies searched and could not find them so reposted couple of days ago.

Again I cannot find them.

Has anyone else experienced missing messages?

Have you looked under the main page's Quick Links menu, Find All My Posts & Find All My Threads?

I just click on your avatar in the thread> view forum posts, but you can click on your name where is says welcome at the top of the screen.

Can't see how to cancel or marked as Resolved.

Seems when Ubuntu had the security problem a few months back that my login user name changed so my search was showing no results.

No need for replies to this thread.

If you wish a thread to be closed, use the 'Report Post' button and ask staff to do so. We usually respond quickly (within reason) to politely worded requests.

Only mark a thread 'Solved' if the original question or problem is resolved. It's considered good netiquette to also post the solution when doing so.

Your username did not change. You used an email in your Ubuntu One account that did not match your original forum account, and the system created a new account. If you want to get back to your old account, please post in the Resolution Centre, as oldos2er said, and an admin will be happy to help you. Please read this sticky first:

Don't know where that is Ann. I'm sure there used to be a 'resolved' button somewhere, I have used it before but tried to find it when I found the problem but no luck.

Point me in the right direction and I'll do so.
