dvd is not booting(linux secueRemix)

hi

i got a new laptop this is it's hardware configuration

processor : Intel(R) Core(TM)i7-470MQ CPU 2.4GHz(8CPUs),~2.4GHz
Memory : 8192MB
Graphic card:GForce GT 740M
Blu ray RWIONEER BD-RW BDR-UD02D

i had tried to install Linux secure-remix but cd is not detect as a bootable i had tried my old laptop the cd is working where is the problem?

Did you go into the BIOS and set the new computer to boot from the CD/DVD drive?
