Game like WoW?

I'm trying to find some games kinda like WoW to play, what I mean by "Like WoW" is basically just a role playing game, however I would like it to be free and much less laggy on crappy computers, so no super sexy graphics or anything ;D

I found one called Warspear which is an online RPG ish game, but it's quite buggy and generally not a lot of fun :/

Do you mean MMORPG or just single player RPG? There are a few free ones available on Steam.

My computer is too crappy to run ANY of those games, I recall suggesting games that wouldn't lag, I may not have mentioned it though

How about Nethack (or one of the other roguelikes)?

Find more information at nethack.org. I think they also have tilesets and all that stuff too so you can get some fancy schmancy graphics.

Also take a look at Terraria (on Steam).

Terraria is laggy as balls and also I don't think available on linux, but I'll look into the other game

Try runescape. It can be good. Just avoid the countless scammers.
Steer clear of League of Legends though, Their community is legendary for all the wrong reasons.

What are the specs of your computer? My 6 year old PC could play all of those games.
