Dear All,

I'm considering to add an OpenCL-capable card to my aging setup, to speed up Darktable (a photograpy app, see darktable.org). It is my understanding that:
- NVidia seems to be more stable
- ATI seems to be have higher OpenCL performance (given prices are the same)

I don't want anything fancy. It's a desktop setup, suspend mode is not needed; however, one thing special about our use of the computer is that we often have 2 sessions open, one for my wife, one for me, and switch between the two depending on who's sitting in front of the PC. Are there any known issues? Or should I stick with NVidia?

Thanks,
Kofa
