What mobile broadband company is the most Linux friendly?

I live in the US. I have been trying to find a mobile broadband company to use for my internet needs. However, I have not found any companies that offer any hot spot devices or usb sticks that are linux friendly. Are there any out there that are Linux friendly? I use Ubuntu 12.04 lts.

I wouldn't think it should matter for a hot-spot device as it's just creating a generic "wifi" zone. Any wifi device should be able to connect to it.
Now for a usb stick connection, that's probably more particular to the O.S. you are using.
I hot-spot my cell phone for my laptops and my wife's ipad quite often with no issues.

Really? That gives us hope, then. We are considering True Connect.
